Mexico Celebrates Four Hotels in The World’s 50 Best Hotels 2025

The 2025 edition of The World’s 50 Best Hotels recognized four Mexican properties among the top 50 best accommodations globally, solidifying Mexico’s position as one of the most admired destinations by international travelers.

These four names represent Mexico’s geographical and cultural diversity, ranging from the heart of the Mayan jungle to the Pacific coast, the Caribbean, and the Bajacalifornian desert, all sharing a common vision: luxury with a Mexican soul.

Luxury Rooted in the Environment

  • Chablé Yucatán, nestled in the Chocholá jungle, blends Mayan mysticism with a holistic wellness approach. For the second consecutive year, it was named Best Hotel in North America, thanks to its cenote-inspired spa and spiritual reconnection philosophy.

Global Tourism

The 2025 ranking, led by Rosewood Hong Kong, Four Seasons Bangkok at Chao Phraya River, and Claridge’s London, spans six continents across 22 countries. The presence of four Mexican hotels places Mexico alongside tourism powerhouses like France, Japan, and the United Kingdom.

Tim Brooke-Webb, Managing Director of The World’s 50 Best Hotels, highlighted that the awarded hotels offer not only luxury but also authenticity and emotional connection with guests, intertwining design, gastronomy, and culture to create unique experiences.

Moreover, being part of this list translates to tangible benefits: award-winning hotels see an increase of 25% to 35% in international reservations following the announcement, according to organization data.
