Introduction to Claudia Sheinbaum and Her Visit
On September 21, Claudia Sheinbaum Pardo, the President of Mexico, visited Cancún, Quintana Roo, to announce new developments and infrastructure projects in the region. - ISSSTE family unit in Playa del Carmen

Social Programs and Beneficiaries
Sheinbaum Pardo highlighted existing social programs in Quintana Roo, which benefit 31,800 women aged 60 to 64 and provide direct funding for social infrastructure in indigenous communities, managed by a treasurer.
Additionally, there are 30,070 beneficiaries of welfare programs in Quintana Roo, with an annual investment of 8,993 million pesos.
Infrastructure Developments
Sheinbaum Pardo mentioned the construction of Tren Maya charging stations in Cancún and other states to improve distribution in the southeast.
Furthermore, 48,584 housing units are being built for low-income families in Quintana Roo, along with debt reduction initiatives for Infonavit and Fovissste beneficiaries totaling 25,000 families. Free land titles are also being distributed.
