Event Overview and Participation
Monterrey, NL. The Global Transportation & Innovation Summit 2025 will take place simultaneously with Provider Automotive, on June 4 and 5, at Cintermex. The business meeting is expected to have a procurement order potential of $5 billion, which is 21.95% more than the previous edition, according to Emmanuel Loo, head of the state’s Economy Secretariat.
Key Participants and Growth
Last year, over $4.1 billion in orders were closed, with 584 companies and 2,265 attendees participating. This year, the number of attendees is expected to double.
- First-time participants include Bobcat, a construction machinery and equipment manufacturer, and Volvo, a truck producer, both expanding their value chains.
- Visitors are anticipated from 15 countries, showcasing futuristic vehicles and efficient chargers.
- More than 3,000 B2B meetings will occur, with confirmed buyer companies such as Kia, Daimler, Kawasaki, and Bobcat.
Focus Areas and Collaborations
Emmanuel Loo emphasized that the event will concentrate on automotive, transportation, logistics, and primarily promote innovation. However, given the significance of the automotive industry, Nuevo León 4.0 initiative and the Automotive Cluster of Nuevo León will participate.
The ecosystem is being strengthened with companies establishing research and development centers in the state, such as KUKA and ZF, along with over 30 centers located in the Technology and Innovation Research Park (PIIT).

Keynote Speeches and Panels
Clelia Hernández, General Director of Nuevo León 4.0, highlighted that on the first day of conferences, KIA Mexico will present with a focus on technological innovation, having the largest booth.
Panels will cover strategic sectors, industrial policy, opportunities from Plan Mexico; advances in equity, gender parity, and inclusion; mobility and energy; and a panel with representatives from leading universities discussing engineering school development’s importance.
Manuel Montoya, General Director of CLAUT, mentioned that recent topics addressed include “Steel in Times of Change” due to tariffs.
B2B Meetings and Industry Goals
Manuel Montoya explained that this year, the number of major companies and potential suppliers in processes like aluminum extrusion, forging, metal mechanical processes, and electronic products is expected to grow. Nuevo León aims to replace imports.
