Impact on 480 Michelin Employees

Michelin announced on June 9 that it will close the plant by the end of 2025, affecting its 480 employees. The closure is due to market shifts in passenger and light truck tires, as the factory lacks the infrastructure to produce larger components.

Despite the plant closure, Michelin will maintain its other activities in Querétaro through its corporate headquarters and the Shared Services Center, as well as continuing operations in León, Guanajuato.
