Querétaro accumulated $587.6 million in remittance income during the first half of 2025, marking a 2.9% annual decline compared to $605 million received in the same period of 2024.
This reduction was slightly below the national indicator’s 5.6% decline, transitioning from $31,326.5 million to $29,575.1 million between the first semesters of 2024 and 2025.
Out of the 32 entities, 23 showed annual declines in H1 2025, ranging from -0.4% to -25.5%. The remaining nine entities experienced growth, from 0.3% to 16.8%.
With the accumulated value from January to June, Querétaro contributed 2% to the national remittance value, placing it 17th among the entities.
The top five contributors were Guanajuato (8.8%), Michoacán (8.8%), Jalisco (8.5%), Chiapas (6.9%), and Estado de México (6.2%), as per Banxico.
