Representatives from Santander Bank and the Querétaro state government signed a collaboration agreement to bolster the international presence of Querétaro-based businesses, provide resources for entrepreneurs, and promote the state.
The Global Connection Agreement was signed during the third day of activities in Spain, where state officials met with Santander’s Global CEO, Héctor Grisi Checa.
The agreement aims to strengthen personnel training in strategic sectors, offering 1,000 scholarships for the Financial Health course across Querétaro and 1,000 more for Corregidora municipality. The course aims to equip entrepreneurs and young people with financial decision-making skills.
The agreement also seeks to facilitate connections between Querétaro businesses and international partners, linking them with global opportunities through Santander’s network. It also enables international work trips for key actors and government bodies to promote Querétaro, as reported by the state government.
