OpenAI: Accelerating Enterprise AI

OpenAI, the owner of ChatGPT, reports that over 1 million business clients are already using their tools. The shift within organizations is moving from “testing” to “operating.” In their report, “The State of Enterprise AI 2025,” OpenAI states that the volume of messages in ChatGPT has grown eight times annually, and API consumption by organizations has increased 320 times.

This intensity translates into measurable productivity. Business users report saving 40 to 60 minutes daily and completing new technical tasks, such as data analysis or programming, which were previously outside their toolkit.

However, the report also highlights a growing gap between “peak” and “average” users. Top performers generate six times more messages than the average user, even within data analysis areas, where boundary users employ tools 16 times more than the average.

For Mexico, BBVA deployed a legal chatbot (based on ChatGPT Enterprise) to automate due diligence, ensuring representatives have the authority to sign and operate on behalf of a company before transactions like account openings, contracts, or credit.

OpenAI’s primary sources are real, anonymized, and aggregated business usage data, along with a survey of 9,000 workers across nearly 100 companies to document adoption patterns.

Copilot: Health on Mobile, Work on Computers

Microsoft’s “It’s About Time: The Copilot Usage Report 2025” not only reveals what we do with AI but also when and from which device.

Analyzing 37.5 million anonymized conversations with Copilot from January to September 2025, Microsoft identified a pattern. On mobile devices, health dominates consistently hourly and monthly. Meanwhile, on desktops, work and technology take center stage during working hours.

The study also marks a temporal boundary. Work and Career surpasses Technology as the primary topic for AI conversations between 8 am and 5 pm.

Microsoft also detected cultural and calendar rhythms. Programming queries rise on weekdays, gaming peaks on weekends, philosophical questions grow at dawn, and relationship conversations spike on Valentine’s Day.

The analysis is based on 37.5 million anonymized, randomly sampled conversations daily from January to September 2025, allowing for monthly evolution and intra-day patterns observation on both mobile and desktop platforms.

Platzi: Digital Education and AI Adoption

“The State of Digital Education in Latin America 2025” by Platzi Business examines adoption through the lens of skills. The proposal is that AI’s value in companies depends on transitioning from isolated projects to organizational integration and change.

Based on adoption levels, Platzi describes four stages: exploration (pilot projects without strategy), basic application (routine automation in specific areas), strategic adoption (systematic integration into critical processes), and transformation (AI as an integral part of the business model with ethical and regulatory implications).

The report illustrates typical AI-related projects, from automated email categorization and process automation agents to WhatsApp Business chatbots and internal training programs.

Platzi’s survey period was October to November 2025, with 5,617 complete surveys and a reach of 44 countries.
