Integration with Apple Intelligence
This battery management feature will be part of Apple’s AI system, called Apple Intelligence, which was introduced in January 2023 for compatible devices running the iOS 18 update. The system reached Spain in April.
Thinner iPhone 17 Design and Battery Compensation
The primary motivation behind this initiative is the upcoming iPhone 17, which will feature a thinner design than its standard and Pro counterparts.
