Introduction of One: Factorial’s AI Agent at Mexico Tech Week 2025
At the Mexico Tech Week 2025, Factorial introduced “One,” an artificial intelligence (AI) agent designed to automate, analyze, and provide conversational support for daily business tasks. This innovation accelerates processes, reduces operational work, and delivers actionable insights at the right time.
Founded nine years ago, Factorial considers this launch as the most significant milestone in its history and the beginning of a new era for human resources (HR) and corporate management.
Jorge Chávez Cué: Driving Force Behind One
In an interview with El Economista, Jorge Chávez Cué, Factorial’s LatAm country manager, explained that the project was born out of a clear need: “Organizations already generate large volumes of data about their employees, but this information is often scattered across various systems. With One, we ensure that all data remains within the Factorial ecosystem and can be processed using AI without leaving the platform.”
AI with a Human Touch
During the event, Chávez emphasized that AI does not replace human work but rather amplifies its impact. “The most limited resource in companies is time. If we can get technology to handle the repetitive tasks, people can focus on creating value,” he commented.
One signifies a significant change for corporations, as it contributes to making work more efficient and effective. Chávez added: “At Factorial, we strive to make technological adoption easy and intuitive. We want users to translate information without needing extensive training or expertise in Big Data.”
Key Functionalities of One
The presentation highlighted the main features of One, including:
- Intelligent Hiring: Analyzes incoming resumes for a vacancy and determines their alignment with the desired profile. The platform generates summaries of each candidate, reducing reading and selection time.
- Mentoring and Coaching Assistance: Facilitates communication between leaders and teams by designing personalized development plans for employees and tracking 1:1 meetings. The agent automatically records agreements, minutes, and next steps; it also performs performance evaluations in seconds.
- Automated Scanning: Converts receipts, contracts, or proof of payment into structured data with a single click. This is complemented by a travel and expense module, where employees can capture invoices from their phones for the AI to identify currency, convert, and categorize expenses.
- On-Demand Reporting: Simply write an instruction like “show me the average salary by gender over the past 12 months” for the system to provide a visual report. This democratizes information access and eliminates manual tasks in analysis teams.
- Real-time Advice: Offers instant interactions with the intelligent agent, co-creation of documents, surveys, or customized reports, shift management, and incident control. It also allows scheduling activities to connect different business areas.
Data Protection and European Standards with Local LatAm Support
A crucial aspect of the project is data protection. All information remains within the Factorial environment and is managed according to each user’s role. Regarding this, Chávez clarified that Factorial adheres to the highest privacy and digital security standards.
“As a Spanish company, all our processes align with the regulations and standards of the European Union; we have very robust certifications. This allows us to assure clients that their information is completely secure,” the LatAm country manager explained.
Three Pillars for Successful AI Implementation
Another highlight of the event was Lorena Sánchez García, a coach and AI expert, who delivered the presentation “How AI is Transforming HR Processes,” outlining three essential pillars for implementing AI in businesses:
- Customer-Centric Approach: Understand the problem technology solves and the value it generates. “AI should not be used just for trends; it should be used to solve a specific issue: saving time, improving experience, or making work more efficient,” Sánchez noted.
- Fast-Paced Transformation: Encourage rapid modernization without losing focus on results. “Technology is now accessible to everyone. The difference lies in how we use it to impact our businesses,” she clarified.
- Ownership Mindset: A mentality that, according to Sánchez, distinguishes advancing companies from lagging ones. “Only by behaving this way do we take responsibility for continuous learning and personal evolution in the face of technological changes, as curiosity invites us to find ways to stay relevant,” she detailed.
Beta Version and Roadmap to 2026
At the event’s conclusion, Factorial announced that One is now available in beta version. Early users can access it with a 100% discount for the first year and an 80% discount for the second. The commercial launch is scheduled for January 2026.
With this digital solution, Factorial solidifies its position as a strategic ally to the sector. “We are entering a new stage where AI is no longer a luxury but an indispensable tool. Companies that learn to use it with clear objectives will shape the future of work,” Chávez concluded.
