BRIDGE, the world’s largest and most diverse global content production summit, is set to take place from December 8-10, 2025, in Abu Dhabi. The event will gather over 400 speakers and 300 international exhibitors along with 60,000 attendees, including industry leaders, decision-makers, academics, lawmakers, creators, influencers, producers, artists, editors, journalists, entrepreneurs, investors, universities, and research centers.

A Gathering of Global Influencers

The summit, organized by the National Media Council (NMC) of the United Arab Emirates (UAE), aims to foster dialogue, share experiences, and launch new initiatives, connecting sectors and geographies in a unique global forum. The event will be held at the National Exhibition Centre in Abu Dhabi, spanning 150,000 square meters.

A Catalyst for Development and Understanding

Abdulla bin Mohammed bin Butti Al Hamed, President of the NMC and BRIDGE, stated: “The BRIDGE Summit is a transformative milestone for global media and creative industries. It redefines the role of media, content, and creative platforms as strategic drivers of development while strengthening national identity and opening new bridges of understanding and exchange between nations.”

Key Figures and Collaboration

This past weekend, Al Hamed met with Elon Musk in Palo Alto, California, to extend an invitation to the opening session of BRIDGE on December 8 and discuss the future of technology and media. The meeting aligns with BRIDGE’s strategy to build high-impact alliances with technology leaders and global innovation centers, expanding collaboration avenues between the media industry and advanced technologies.

AI Leadership and Ethical Framework

During their meeting, Al Hamed and Musk discussed data centers and artificial intelligence (AI), crucial drivers of the 21st century and essential for economic and social transformation. Musk emphasized that future innovation depends on countries providing abundant, clean, and affordable energy for data centers. Al Hamed highlighted that the UAE is well-positioned to play a transformative role, offering clean and low-cost energy with advanced capabilities at scale.

Musk praised the UAE’s vision under the leadership of Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, highlighting their early efforts in AI, including being the first nation to establish a State Ministry of Artificial Intelligence, Digital Economy, and Remote Work since 2020. He also acknowledged the University of Artificial Intelligence Mohamed bin Zayed’s pioneering role in establishing the UAE as a technology and innovation hub.

Both Musk and Al Hamed stressed the importance of balancing rapid innovation with regulatory frameworks that protect ethical values. They also emphasized the need for a global framework for responsible AI use in content creation, regulation, and distribution to ensure credibility and foster public trust.
