About October

October is the tenth month in the Gregorian calendar, consisting of 31 days. Its name originates from the Latin word “octo,” meaning “eight,” reflecting its original position in the ancient Roman calendar, which began in March. Although the calendar has changed and October’s position has shifted, its name remains unchanged.

October is closely associated with autumn, a season marked by noticeable changes such as falling temperatures, creating a stark contrast between the summer and the upcoming colder months.
